Space Ogres - Multipart Miniatures Set

Space Ogres! Weighing in at over a tonne, each of these giants is like a living battering ram. Armed with automatic shotguns, grenade launchers or one of many melee weapons, there are few things on the battlefield that can stop them. Some, however, will be found in the underbellies of mega cities, seeking their fortune with the help of engineering equipment such as arc welders, laser cutters or simply a hefty wrench.

Contents
The Space Ogres are a multipart, modular kit and an alternate version of my Triceratogres set. Each miniature is made up of leg, torso, head and arm pieces. Additionally, some arms have a choice of attachments or magnetisable parts (use 3x1mm round magnets). The arms are attached to the torso with ball joints so they allow a degree of poseability.

The set gives you:
12 heads
6 torsos (2 each of light, medium and heavy armour)
4 leg pieces
24 arms
6 melee weapon end bits
6 magnetisable specialist weapons
2 magnetisable shield types (plus battle damaged versions)
5 pouches, ammo and grenade accessories

Additionally, you can mirror any part for even more variety. A 40mm round base is also included.

Technical Details
The miniatures are scaled to work with 28/32mm wargames and each stands about 45mm tall to the eyes. Pre-supported files are provided in Chitubox and STL formats. The leg and torso parts have hollowed versions.

You can print the different pieces first and assemble them after, or combine them in software first and then print them (customizer style).

Files description
After purchase, you will have a choice of four zip files to download:
space-ogres-stl-v1 - files without supports
space-ogres-pre-supported-stl-v1 - pre-supported files for resin printing, in STL format
space-ogres-pre-supported-chitubox-v1 - same as above, except in Chitubox format. These will allow you to edit the supports.
space-ogres-stl-posed-in-situ-v1 - additional files for use only with the "combine first, print second" method. Do not print these files on their own as they won't fit with other parts.

On the tabletop
Given their size and kit options, the Space Ogres could be used with rules for the Astra Militarum Bullgryns/Ogryns or Genestealer Cults Aberrants/Abominants in games of Warhammer 40,000. In Necromunda they could be played as an Ogryn gang. For Aberrants/Abominants I would recommend printing at 70% size, if you wanted to match the size of the Games Workshop miniatures.
