I have done a lot of trees over the years. These are very simple to use. No branches to attach (well almost). Glue on some clump foliage and you are good to go. Trunks and roots have lots of structure to give your washes and drybrushes good grip when painting.
The bases can be magnetized or the trunks can be glued onto the roots. In the case of magnets, use 5x2 round.
Some trees have branches that reach out horizontally. If you don't want to print this with supports, there are versions with these branches separate. Some of these require support, but not much. I have tested everything and prusa organic support worked very well.
The trunks that are printed standing up have a big support base that are cut away after printing.
This set includes:
- 7 bases with a slot for one trunk each, 5 banana shaped, 1 round and 1 triangular
- 6 trunks
- 4 dead versions of the trunks
