Through his groundbreaking methods, Balthazar has unlocked the ability to reanimate corpses into obedient servants, known as Husks, capable of performing menial tasks and labor. Despite initial skepticism from the city council, Balthazar's invention was ultimately embraced as a means to free up the populace for scientific endeavors while the Husks handled daily chores.
As Balthazar's influence swelled, so too did Pitchborough's prosperity. But beneath the veneer of progress lies a dark truth. In the city's toxic slums, the poorest residents are conscripted monthly for experimentation, fueling the insatiable demand for new Husks. With graveyard reserves dwindling, Balthazar has devised a horrifying solution—a parasitic leech that transforms the living into Husk-like beings.
The time has come to put an end to Balthazar's reign of terror. Join us as we venture into the heart of Pitchborough and confront the malevolent forces threatening to consume us all.
