Our Panther A model is made to the specification to January 1944.
All vertical surfaces are coated with zimmerit, which began in September 1943 on the Panther A, is an anti-magnetic mine coating. Not many miniature makers have dared add this accurate detail to their models.
This panther has side skirts which come as a separate piece. Side skirts were hung from hooks on the side of the tank. Often some plates would fall off after going over uneven ground or from rubbing up against obstacles. By trimming your side skirts you can individualise them, giving each one a unique look.
