One might think that a mutant animal based off of polar bear stock might make a particularly effective and dangerous character. One would be right. Vod-Kah can launch spikes from his top-knot with deadly accuracy, has an Ancient golf club as a melee weapon, is garbed in very protective ‘sandwich-board’ battle armor. And he’s a bear. A bear who really like alcohol, hence his name.
The Mutant Mayhem Minis line of figures was designed for Mutant Crawl Classics RPG, but also go great with DCC, Gamma World, D&D or any game that uses 28mm minis.
Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paint-ability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic.
Vod-Kah was sculped as an expansion character for the original Mutant Mayhem Minis line, and is a playable character at our convention games. He will also be available at some point as a pewter miniature, but for now is only available here for 3D printing!
