Dwelling in dark caves, subterranean tunnels and the sewers of large cities, the Arachnigyn is a species of intelligent hybrid spider that has evolved an upper torso that could be mistaken for a humanoid (often - but not always - appearing female) at a distance or in dim light. Pheromones further the deception by tricking nearby humanoids into believing an attractive figure stands before them and lulling them into a state of defenselessness. Beware these crawling terrors, or you might find yourself lured into their web!
