Late Medieval Longbowmen In 6mm

This pack has eight strips of longbowmen for 6mm games in supported and unsupported versions. They were modeled to resemble historical art of the era (Late Medieval and Early Renaissance,) which is reflected in their clothes, helmets, and also poses (most notably, the fact that they are aiming straight ahead, rather than upwards.)

The standard archers are the long_x.stl files, but I have also added the cin_x.stl (cin stands for cinematic) which has more movie-like poses and also resemble more those of typical fantasy archers (like old Bretonnian archers.) In any event, at this scale, the difference is subtle and both can be combined.

Finally, there's a command strip with some men-at-arms and also two strips with stakes, useful to decorate bases. These don't require any supports and can be printed directly on the plate.

As for the models, I sculpted them to have the minimum amount of overhanging areas, which is why many bows are fused to the legs or even the ground, to minimize supports at very steep angles. The underside of many quivers has also been smoothed considerably for similar reasons.

If you prefer to place the supports yourself, I recommend rotating the models 15º, pointing upwards (that is, the forward part of the base.)
